One will be randomly chosen among all entries but the other will be given to the one account (so teachers, submit all the entries for your school with the same login) with simply the MOST valid entries!

So get those creative juices flowing and let's write and illustrate some stories!

Winners will be contacted and announced on ePub Bud on October 7th, and the iPads will be awarded immediately thereafter!

What makes an entry valid?

The book must be completely finished and made public on epubbud.com by 11:59 PM Pacific time on September 30th, 2010.

The book must be an original work by the submitter (or their student).

The book must consist of at least 8 color illustrations, and at least 8 pages.

The book must have an illustrated cover with the title and author, and the artwork used must be original.

The book must have the author, illustrator, title, language, genre, published date and synopsis filled out correctly.

The book must be appropriate for children (under the age of 18), as deemed by ePub Bud.

The book must be deemed by ePub Bud to have some teensy amount of "literary value."

Any book may be deemed an invalid entry by ePub Bud without explanation, and their decision is final.

Finally, anyone in the world (even grown-ups!) may enter... and everyone should!
